ALBUMS

Jim orchestrated 2 songs – “My Weapon” & “Praise You in the Storm” – for Natalie Grant’s album, No Stranger. 

He also orchestrated 2 songs and played piano on CCM artists David & Nicole Binion’s album Dwell Christmas.

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PROJECTS

NASHVILLE SYMPHONY

Jim orchestrated a Tribute to Don Williams featuring Don’s band and concert footage with Don and his vocals.

For the annual Music City Christmas event, Jim orchestrated for special guest, Kelli Pickler.

Jim also orchestrated the NSO Symphony Ball Gala Event for Kelsea Ballerini.

OKLAHOMA CITY PHILHARMONIC

Jim was both orchestrator and one of the live producers for this annual Christmas celebration, featuring Broadway stars, singers from University of Oklahoma, dance group The Mistletoes, and Santa Claus.

THE PHILADELPHIA ORCHESTRA

Jim orchestrated a composition commissioned by The Philadelphia Orchestra by composer Hannibal Lokumbe,entitled Healing Tones. This 3- movement, 50-minute work was scored for 3 soloists, the Morgan State University choir and The Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Seguin.

He also arranged and orchestrated Deck the Hall with Boughs of Holly for their annual Christmas show.

Jim served as arranger, orchestrator and conductor for this outdoor summer show in Park City, UT.

Jim had the honor of orchestrating a tune for one of John’s final shows before his passing.

Jim served as arranger and orchestrator for this show in North Carolina.

LIVE EVENTS

Habitat for Humanity Benefit Concert

Jim worked as arranger and talent producer for the Habitat for Humanity Benefit concert in partnership with President & Mrs. Jimmy Carter, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Melinda Doolittle, Abbie Washburn, Tyler Andal, and the Fisk University Choir under the direction of Dr. Paul Kwami. Jim provided an all-star band with Tim Akers, Dave Cleveland, Michael Rinne, Chester Thompson and strings from The Nashville Symphony. The concert was held at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

Jim also arranged and orchestrated the opening song for a program called The Sinatra Legacy at Studio Tenn in Franklin, TN.
